  1. Are you fucking joking? Three thousand one hundred and seventy US dollars?
  2. Just perusing my service manual here, says you gotta use all 6 to do it properly.
  3. Can't help you on the measurement, but the bolts screw into the forkleg, not the caliper.
  4. Delete this thread and tell Klaus it's fucked from the factory.
  5. May be a broken reed or something in the pair system. Of course I could be talking directly out of my ass here.
  6. I should fucking sell it. Well if it doesn't meet your needs anymore that is.
  7. mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm. Toasty. Dat sux, yo.
  8. I seem to remember the Cheng-Shit had a bigger aspect ratio, but other than that I don't remember. I actually think the front was a K591 or somethin.
  9. Any cruiser tire will fit the bill. They're not too sticky, last a goodish time, and...dare I say...made for guys who don't put a whole lotta miles on. I put Dunlop D404's on my dad's bike and they fit the bill. On my 87 Hurricane 600 I believe I put a cheng-shin barracuda on the back when the Dunlop was shot.
  10. I've got a set of 1/2" drive impact hex sockets...of course you can use them with 1/2" drive hand tools. Sunex brand, #2649. Sizes 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 17 and 19mm They're out there.
  11. Tighten with hook spanner or punch and hammer. Check for play. Tighten more. Check for binding. Loosen because now it's binding. Find the happy medium. Recheck in a few thousand miles.
  12. Come to think of it, that's what I've got on there now! and on the bottom at the very front where there should be 2 of those pushpin bastards.
  13. And it's a beee-yotch! I'll do anything to avoid taking of the left panel.
  14. That's what I do. I only use a mityvac for dry systems. I'd actually say you can spill, just not on anything that you'd like the paint to stay on.
  15. Commonly called riv-nuts.
  16. Take off all your engine covers...hell the case itself, and use your dremel tool to make everything wafer thin. That's right. I said waffer-theeeen.
  17. So does this, for $10 less and no freight. Tucker Rocky part #15-0125.
  18. Whatever works man. I also dunno if gun blue would work because they're plated. Of course I could be talking directly out of my ass here.
  19. Yassir, wind er up all the way clockwise, hold the plunger in and then re-insert the key. No biggie.
  20. Just get yer tiny flatblade screwdriver and wind'er back up. Clockwise I believe, I'll get back witcha on that one.
