  1. My female cousin lives in Irvine CA - her father is Irish so she too is an Irish citizen. Couple months ago the parents announced they were moving back to Ireland. For reasons I cannot imagine cousin announced Friday night that she quit her job and is going with the parents - probably not to return.

One of the details she seems to have forgotten is her truck. 2016 F-150 Supercab 2x4 with 3.6L EcoBoost. 37k Miles. Maroon red, XLT package. Guaranteed flawless.

She he needs to sell it by end of day Tuesday. She’s got an appointment with Carmax Tuesday, however if someone was ready to move fast they could could probably buy it really right. KBB is 31k, NADA 29,500. She would probably sell it for 27 or a bit under rather than go to Carmax...

  2. Just bought a dozen Kawasaki 2017  KX250 and KX450 from their press fleet and I bought them right - all have new tires and have been serviced. Blue book on the 450's used is like $7500 - I can put one on the family in the mid-4's...

2 of them were used by McGrath and have a few trick pieces on them.

Yea, I kinda wanna.  Distance is just an added hindrance.  Pulling 6k right now plus travel, or transport, would leave me somewhere around 0, probably below 0.  And while it's seemingly in ready to go condition, there may be surprises that need addressing.  If I can get one of mine sold before this goes away I'll probably be in.

No surprises- that I assure you. Doesn’t mean something can’t break - but all the major stuff is fucking perfect.

If you wanna talk about it I might let you split into a couple payments. ID rather it go to someone how will take care of it - it’s taken care of me.

It's everything AFTER the 7.3 that blows up.  And I do mean everything.  Even so called bulletproof 6.0's still lift heads.  One of my rebuilders buys every single 7.3 Excursion that goes through the auction.  He's got them sold before he even finishes them.

All that said - a stock 7.3 doesn't make near the power of a 6.4 or 6.7... as the expense of reliability I suppose.

It's the same way with wives. :o

Good luck with the sale, sounds like the truck has been dead reliable for you. Hilarious how in the 70s and 80s everyone threw away their car when it approached 100K miles. Bet that Power Stroke hits 500K miles easily.

No doubt in my mind. I’ve two friends that have greater than 800k on theirs.

  6. This truck has been very good to me - but I’ve bought something newer and need to find it a good home.

1999 F-250 7.3L - 4x4 Lariat Crew Cab. All stock, 368k flawless miles. Lots of recent parts - new glow plugs and glow plug relays, new rotors and pads, new front calipers etc. Pulls my 8k lbs trailer like a champ and gets better fuel economy than my new Cummins.

All major systems work perfectly  but does need a few very minor things - most major is the factory radio is junk. Drivers side window tint needs redone, overhead temp/compass is inop (there is a service on EBay fixing these for $25 including shipping - just never pulled it out). Factory leather seats in the front were pretty bad - I put nice seat covers on it and never looked back. Dash is perfect. Has bedliner. Good tires too.

    pics taken this morning.

Asking $8k. Might consider interesting trades.

  7. Phone in case since new, but did discover a small crack in the very very corner glass when I took out of case today. Doesn’t interfere with function. Phone set to factory defaults and sim removed. Works on Verizon, not sure about other networks. Wife had a big credit from Verizon on a different issue so I used this to help upgrade to an IPhone X - otherwise I’d still be using it.  Case included if you want. Make a reasonable offer.
