  1. First, I would really focus on stretching.

    1. Do a good warm up and then a dynamic stretching sequence.

    2. Try to keep your muscle loose with stretching between sets.

    3. Finish your workout with static stenching.

    4. You will also want to stretch again the following day.

Second, you will also want to consider that there is significantly different amount of torque depending on the angle of your joint that you are working. Through your range of motion the force that you have to exert changes. Based on this, You may want to try to break up your sets so that you aren't working your whole range of motion at once, but in separate parts. This way you do not use the whole motion of your joint and can match the weight to the mechanics of your body. If you look at modern machines they use cams to accomplish this same concept.

  2. Thanks for the info. The lights will not be a problem as I will have a integrated taillight as soon as clear alternatives decides to send me one that works. ( i have only been waiting 4 1/2 months for a warranty replacement one. it didnt work right out of the box)

And i am looking at ordering the bags from DSS, if i dont find any used ones. and the hardware to mount the bags isnt permanently out of stock.

  3. I got ear plugs from teh last motorcycle show. They custom make them to your ear and are very comfortable. They were a bit pricey, but i they work very well. If you are interested in this route, i can get the name of the company that made mine when next week.

  4. I would also say to look at blue flame. I got a stainless dual oval set and they are louder, but not too loud. Another great feature of them is the quick change baffels. You have the choice of all four open, top two baffeled, lower two baffeled, or all baffeled. If you are looking to hear some of the pipes on a blackbird, try this site. Blackbird Exhaust sounds
