  1. Sorry between work and vacation I've had no time to ride.

    I will have a chance to change riding position in 2 weeks.

    Planning 4 day excursion to northern Pennsylvania, that should give me time to work

    on position and also looking into some kind of throttle assist.

  2. My ride is rock hard, never adjusted rear shock before. So I just want to make sure I do it right. So from what I have read the only adjustment I can make is to the dampner is that correct.

    Any help would be appreciated

  3. Fit was good a little tight, only because plastic is not as flexible as OEM.

    I was short lower center piece and they advertised free paint.

    Notified ezmoto they promise to make good and send ASAP.

    I used my old plastic in the mean time. They also gave me 30.00 credit for my inconvenience.

    For the money I'm satisfied.

    What do you think.

  4. I bought my bike off a guy who's dad dropped it on the right side managed to Crack upper

    And damage lower, a lot cheaper to go with aftermarket. Will either sell or repair OEM

    this winter.

    Curious if the posts are on the inside of the replacement lowers for attaching the factory heat barrier? (Kind of looks like they are?) I have sucessfully transferred the factory heat barriers from one lower to another. was pretty easy.

    Post are there and I received a set of heat barriers with the new fairing.
  5. Here is a sample I compared left side fairing for sample you should be able to zoom to see quality.

    So far though I was missing lower center piece that connects right and left sides they didn't ship paint as advertised and the heat shield is shit.

    The new set is thinner and more rigid but they look good, considering I only paid 450.00

  6. Sprocket and chain complete. Looking to upgrade fork springs to .95kg I read that

    Stock springs are .83kg is 95kg to heavy would like some input please.

  7. Correct. If you're referring to your drive chain and sprockets, the drive sprocket floats on the output shaft even after the bolt is fully torqued.

  8. A little history, this was a barn find which came with a mouse condo built in the air filter housing.

    Last summer I did nothing but clean out housing replace air filter with k & n filter ran OK filled tank and added seafoam for the winter.

    Now on top of everything else found that chain was bad figured that was a quick fix so I bought new sprockets and chain . Upon starting that project noticed old front sprocket was loose even though bolt was tight so I removed and installed new sprocket and it is loose as well does this mean I need to replace my balance shaft? Looked at several part sites only thing I could find is a complete assembled shaft, how hard is the balance shaft to replace?

    I do apologize for not responding quicker, been busy with work and family. Just started working on my bike again.

    Does the engine spin over well when hot but simply not start? Or does it have difficulty turning over?

    Yes turns just fine, eventually battery did loose power while cranking.

  10. First start of the season started right up alittle rough which I expected.

    I was throttling to clear carb and notice slight miss, gradually got worse

    Higher rpms. I had to attend to other matters shut off engine. Came back 5 or so minutes later engine would not start. Revisited about half hour later engine started right up.

    Thats it in a nutshell.

  12. I can here my valves tapping ever so lightly. I have an 03 that has never been tune up, oil was change at dealer last spring. Bike only has 6000 miles and I only put 1000 mile on last year. Should I be concern?

  13. Last summer I purchased 2003 XX and unfortunately I did not get much riding time. Well I've been riding alittle more this spring and noticed a few things. My front end seems alittle soft, the bike shifts hard after riding awhile and although power is not a problem I notice a bit of vibration when accelerating. The only things I've had done to the bike is an oil change and I had a problem when starting my bike after it was warmed up. As far as I can tell all the Dealership did was increase my idle which seems to high now 1300rpms. Any help would be appreciated.
