Dave - did you sell the luminox?
-
All the gear was put in the Salvation Army bin this AM.....
GONNER !!!
Fuug!!!
I wish I would have saw this earlier.
I have a Kili in XXL that I would have traded you...
-
I think that is the best sounding exhaust on a XX...
-
I have way too many jackets and pants so its time to have a sale. Prices do not include shipping.
If you want to see huge pics just open the link of the actual pic and chop off the "_1".
FirstGear Kilamanjaro - 2XL - $75 - I bought this from another board member and never wore it. Its just too big for me. Comes with a liner.
Olympia AirGlide2 - XL - $75 - I wore this as my primary summer jacket for 2 or possibly 3 summers. It flows air like you are naked. It has a full liner that can be worn as a jacket when you get where you are going. Olympia has the best liners of any gear I have ever owned. The jacket is lightweight and has good CE armor. I have worn this jacket from the mid 30F up to 115F though that was pushing it on both ends. It has a bit of wear mostly only visible on the piping in a couple places. I replaced it with...another identical Airglide2.
Teknic Phantom sz 46. - $50 - This jacket flows a lot of air. I think the armor is the standard foam stuff. I crashed in this jacket at OzarXX several years ago. Had the jacket professionally repaired and wore it a bit before getting another jacket. It has some scuffs but I think it looks tough. It comes with a vest liner. It also fits fairly snug. Probably more like a L though I am perfectly comfortable in it. If you wear XL and have a gunt it probably won't fit you well. SOLD
Olympia Recon2 pant - XL - $75 - Love these pants. These are in very good condition. The legs zip off at the knee so you can wear them as shorts when you get where you are going. I am only replacing them because I found a deal on some airglide2 pants. These pants do not have a liner.SOLDGerike Takai pants. - XL - $30 - I bought these things probably 10 years ago. They are made out of some sort of super heavy nylon type material and are very warm and I am pretty sure they are water proof. They have no armor. They almost seem more like super sturdy ski pants. They seem run very slightly small. I don't think they would be good overpants unless you normally wear maybe a L at most. I think I only wore these a few times.
Dibs on the AirGlide - Make me a deal on that and the 1st Gear?
PM sent.

Ill stand up for that bike... it's all there.
-
Did you put this on the GL board? If you want me to let me know.
With something like 40,000 members I'd have to think someone would trade you.
That's a fucking diamond of a GS man.
Dave - you da man! Yes, it is quite a bike. Nobody in their right mind would ever want more upgrades or options in a GS.
It completely purrs too... Im having second, third, and forth thoughts. But, if the right deal comes along - then, it'll go.
I took off the bra (Tourtech - with panniers) tonight just to show off how it looks braless...
-
I cannot believe that I am posting this... but, I am.
I've owned two older Goldwings and I recently sold my last one off to buy this GS - but, both me and my wife have decided we are Wing people, not GS people...
This is an incredible GS. Fitted out with EVERY UPGRADE you could ever want. It runs great, looks great (and, seasoned), and includes everything you'd ever want to go from long distance Adventure Rider to two up comfort...
I'm looking for a straight up trade for a 1500 or 1800 or like value.

Good on you - Great gesture for a great cause! But, you forgot to mention that you are a giant. Im just sayin.
-
That bike handles too good for most of the guys here... And, the third gear wheelies roll-on wheelies might be a bit much for this crowd too. Only the hardcore XX'ers and Dave could really appreciate it...
-
Has the bike ever been dynoed and if so, could you post a chart?
I never had it dyno'd, but based on the recipe card and the 3rd gear roll-on wheelies I'd put it in the 120-130 rwhp range. I'd be stunned if it was less. And, it's way down on weight from a stock bike too. The Ti exhaust weights 6lb including the can.
The bike rocks. Id bet my sister on the fact that you'd be more than pleased, and our friend Paul is a stand-up guy too.

Shameless bump
No need for a shameless bump - that bike would make any of these pansies piss their pants...
Congrats Lieutenant! I hope to come out your way again next year - I'll be sure to drop in!
That fucking bike gives me a hard on every time I see it... Folks - you wont find a more sorted out Z1K - anywhere.
Here's what it sounds like... ya, it was warmed up when I was rapping it (look at the temp), and the noise in the background is one of my kids running the snowthrower.
I can personally attest that it WILL DO 80mph roll-on wheelies in 2nd and 3rd. I got the map from a wizard in SoCal, and had the injectors done by the same moke. Dialed in is such an understatement on this thing. I wish I had the cash to own it a third time.

I know... it's hard to break the extra cash free right before christmas, but - that's what "winter deals" are all about.
Come get this beast. It needs a home and the price is going up after the holiday.
Dave - special price for you that you'll need to call to retrieve ...
-
Goes anywhere from $500-800 new and around $200 used.
Just received an anniversary white edition Tribute to the Mont Blanc Ballpoint and have no need for this one anymore.
They don't make the Burgandy/Gold version anymore. It's rare.
$125 here only. $10 to ship.
does it have rectum grease on it? If not... would $100 put it on my door? If it would - then in return I'd let you ride my GS if you promised to give it back...
-
el bumpo. Last one before the end of the world.
Price officially goes up on Jan 1 for EVERYONE! That includes you DAVE.
-
I hate to keep saying it... but, you're gonna be sorry if this slips through your fingers...
-
Come on!!! Someone come steal this thing from me... I'll make you a nice "pre-xmas" deal. I'd love to get rid of it now, if not then it goes on the tender and the price goes up in the spring!
-
CLEAN THAT GARAGE !!!
SHADDUP!!!!
So... Dave - where are we riding next year?
My 02.... handles great in the snowEverything is expensive as shit to fix and it has a lot of stupid little problems
This is my third Quattro - I love the system, yes - I agree that it rocks in the snow!
I have heard of other that have lots of niggles in theirs too... So far, I've been lucky. The PO took care of EVERYTHING whenever ANYTHING even squeeked. Im a happy chappy. Mine will see snow, but not too much until I decide to sell my wagon.

I'd like to know more about the TT in the background
The TT is my favorite 4 wheeled grin magnifier. 2001 TT 225 Cabrio. Koni's on all four corners, Stage 3 Chip/tune (~290hp). I am the second owner. Well cared for - basically all stock except for the chip/tune and suspension. More fun than a barrel of monkeys. Not for sale for anything less than a stupid price.
If you buy my LT then I'll let you drive it for a spin... awe hell, come on out and I'll take you for a spin anyway.
The LT is a fantastic deal. It's "all that", and seeing it in person will verify that there are no disappointments. I have a complete 2nd upper fairing that comes with the bike too.

FS:
1993 BMW K1100LT
Color: Green with Gray seat
Milage ~36000 and climbing
AM/FM/Cassette with remote controls
CB Radio
Heated Grips
Throttle Lock
Power Windshield
Beautiful condition, fully loaded including factory bag liners, tank bag, cover, and manual. Also includes a complete crack free upper fairing. Have it shot the factory color - and you'll have one of the most perfect 93's on the planet. This edition of LT's was the last of the real "ST" LT's. I've had a lot of bikes, and a number of ST's - and, far and away - this bike is the nicest of any of them.
I recently it on a trade from a friend and the history on the bike as it was told to me is: the bike came from a gentleman who gently used the bike since new and took exceptional care of it. The bike fell over in his garage and cracked the upper portion of the fairing and cracked the paint in a tiny spot on the fender. None of the cracks are significant or structural. The bike came with factory BMW touch up paint and clear coat - the cracks have been touched up. The bike was drained of fluids and parked for three years. It starts runs and stops just like a BMW LT is supposed to - wonderfully. This bike really is an awesome ST mile eater.
Items of note: Bike has ABS-I and it was throwing an error. I disconnected the ABS Controller, and also pulled the ABS relays. The rear brake now has a direct line from the master to the caliper - works great. Front Magura master cylinder is recently rebuilt by me. No error lights, not fault codes. I have all the ABS hardware and there is no "hacking" anywhere on the bike. It's been treated and maintained to high standards.
Cash Sale price - $Sold Pending Funds!
Location: Grand Rapids Michigan
Come get one of the sweetest, most complete K-LT's ever for stupid short money... seriously this bike is a steal for this dough.

I'm tempted, especially if it fits a '99 XX, but I just replaced mine last year, so I'm nowhere near needing another.
Is the radiator compatible with a '99? I'm thinking of replacing mine this year.
Yes, it'll fit a 99. I dont know about the radiator - I'll let a FI expert chime in.
Is that the installed price? For you, I'll even install it wearing a thong.
