I want a digital speedometer... I am wondering if i can pull the fatory analog dash cluster and replace it with a digital from the later years bird??? are there gonna be wiring problems... any chance of a plug and play??

If it is the reg/rec this may help ... I started this thread a while back and have had no problems to date... you inital problem was the same as my situation.. Thank you very much.. I guess I need to go out and get myself a decent torque wrench.. Thats for the 20 pound info..

I understand the concept of bar raising .. How do I properly torque the hex bolts that hold the bars up. (noone wants a set of grips to coe loose unber triple digits) Is there a special torque wrench for bolts of that type? Pete
