If you want to check the reeds, just remove the tank, pull the airbox, and remove the pair reed covers, and then you can just remove the reeds. Mind the gasket around each reed (4 of them), don't tear it.
ok found the reed location on ron ayers so i may check that later.

acceleration there is definatly a change! i love my 16 front (along with speedohealer). as far as milage, city you can get the same if you jsut run in a higher gear than normal. on the interstate you'll lose milage do to the higher rpms.

ok so maybe full port and polish is out....i'm just tryin to figure out what the next step would be as for as performance mods for when i get my tax return. i have the muzzy/d&d with jet kit. maybe a ignition advancer.....
First thing's first... suspension! You will be AMAZED at the conficence cornering! At least switch out to 5W oil in the forks... and a SHOCK!

Seriously, the best $10 I've spent on the bike/gear!

Edit: I still need to do the ultimate test, which is a 35 degree rain... THEN I can say whether or not it fogs!

took a friend home to purdue from indy ( about 1-1:15 of interstate ) last night. when coming home on one of the ramps to another interstate my car was real rough and almost bucking when i accellerated back to speed. then this morning my car wouldnt start. crank and crank and crack but no start. held the pedel to the floor to unflood it and still nothing let it sit awhile and STILL nothing.....FINALLY after holding the pedel to the floor and feather the pedel some it started but was a very rough and studery start.......any ideas????
it does this everytime i drive very long on the interstate...studers when i try to roll on and wont start very easy the next day.
also noticed that if i keep the car in D not OD then it acts a lot better and doesnt have that bogging feeling. if i leave it in D and try to roll on and get it to downshift to D then it acts fine.......
any ideas?

added a powered speaker from escort for my 8500 today. so on the way to school i had the
8500
powered speaker
electric gloves
and ipod charging (normaly dont)
should i be fine with the top 3 on and the ipod off of its own battery on a normal basis?
