  1. Got a 220V 50A circuit put in for the compressor and arc welder.
  2. Thanks for the great advice everyone.I appreciate it. BTW, how does Ingersol Rand compare?
  3. My new house will be done in around a month and I'm looking for suggestions on an upright compressor for the garage in the sub-$1500 range. Something in the 50-80 gallon range with a high enough scfm to run pnuematic sanders, drills, etc.. and enough pressure for a nail guns. I'd love to be able to afford a Kaesar, but in leue of that what would you guys recommend?
  4. Are you going to epoxy/poly coat the garage floor?
  5. There's also this: http://www.hhp.ufl.edu/keepingfit/ARTICLE/...oomuchwater.htm
  6. But that only happens if the soy is not cooked. Cooking soy will destroy all but 5-10% of the protease inhibitor while leaving the inherent protein and benefits. And the inhibitor's effects aren't all bad, they also inhibit cancer growth. Something Asians also have less cases of than Americans, except for those in Hiroshima and Nagasaki...
  7. What about soy milks like Silk as a replacement for milk? High in protein and it tends to have less of a reaction for the lactose intolerant.
  8. I've got an Erion 4-1. Centerstand is fine with it.
  9. How does the Amsoil injector cleaner compare or is it all the same stuff?
  10. I'd also like to know which, if any, type of injector cleaner to use?
  11. I might have an old Hercules somewhere.
  12. Wow. You still have a CGA video cable? God those were the days. The cable they ship is a null modem cable.
  13. I get the CCT noise too, from 3800-5k. This is noticable from a start to about 25mph. Same squeek frequency as a hamster wheel.
  14. From a start in 1st or 2nd gear theres a squeeking sound coming from the right side of the bike in the 1-3.5k rpm range. Is this related to the CCT noise?

    Mixture

Joe, All of that is possible. Idle appears normal. I haven't really wrung it out..160 on the interstate, but nowhere near the revlimiter. All cylinders sound like they're firing, I guess a compression test wouldn't hurt to make sure they're even. I didn't adjust the gap on the iridiums, forum concensus on that was iridiums are fine from the factory. I'll check the hoses and airbox next. I appreciate the input.

Same time as oil and plugs.

    Mixture

On a '99 is it possible to adjust the mixture without a PCII or is that the only way? I can smell it's a bit rich running and there's some soot on the exhaust. Would explain the poor gas mileage (23-30mpg). I've tried unplugging the batter to have the ECU reset. Any other suggestions?
  19. kickstand or centerstand when refueling?

    less power

Oh yeah, forgot to answer Joes question on where I get my fuel. I always buy it at the same Exxon. I'll run by Autozone tonite to see if they have a stick to check for water. I appreciate all the help. Thanks everyone.

    less power

When I changed the plugs I put iridiums in and a new airfilter. Oil level is within the lines (3.8quarts). Carlos, its not an immediate thing after the maintenance. It's been getting slowly worse. I didn't peak down the throttle bodies, kept them covered during the change. Should I and if so what should I look for?

Riding style - Generally with traffic during the commute, occasionally WOT when I get pissed and stuck behind someone. The bike is usually in the 3-7k rpm range, rarely above. It could very well be carbon build-up. It seems to run hotter and mileage has dramatically decreased, used to be 30-36, now its 20-25. Plugs looked pretty good though, no scorching or broken. There isn't any emissions being a Texas bike.

    less power

Its a '99. It isn't sporadic, just generally decreased. When I give it WOT from around 4-6k rpm it does falter a little, but there isn't a stutter as much as a hesitation that wasn't there when I bought the bike. I'll try checking the fuel filter tonite Thanks Joe, I appreciate yours and everyone elses help so far.

    less power

There are 2 places on my daily commute that I end up doing this. One is into the parking garage at work and the second is the light before I join the highway (long wait). I could slow to about 2-3 mph and just let the bike walk itself up as traffic inched ahead. Around 1500rpm it never struggled before. I should probably stop, though I hate burning clutch in its place. That's always a possibility. A clogged fuel filter should make the bike sporadic in its power though, right?
