My XX on the dyno ran an actual 182.something while the speedo was showing 202. That was topped out in 6th gear. Thats with a full Akropovic exhaust, K&N and a PCII my XX makes 143 HP. Won't do 200+ on the road unless it's being pulled by a jet.

Without a doubt, the Phillips Motel in Robbinsville. 18 minutes from the Gap, run by a very nice older couple who cater to us bikers. Low prices too!!! Won't stay anywhere else but there. It's nothing fancy but it is VERY VERY CLEAN!!! Five thumbs up from me.
+1 Reba and her husband are good hosts.

ANY mold is dangerous and can caus major health problems. Kill it and remove it ASAP. Bleach the hell out of it, scrape it up and dispose of it. All mold has some toxic properties.
When it drys up, it can release spores into the air, and that is not a good thing to breath in. Just take those pics to a doctor and see what he says about them.

The fine folks at The Phillips Motel in Robbinsville NC have 2, two car carports you can park your bikes in if it rains...or snows. It snowed 8 inches in April a couple of years ago. Mrs. Reba even moves her Mercedes and her husbands Acura out and into the rain and snow so we can park our bikes in the dry. Now thats nice people!!

Yep. Just weighed my stock cans. 25 pounds for the pair.

For Sale, one pair of 99 stock exhaust cans. Header has been sold, now I need to move the cans. They are in excellant shape with factory clamps. There is one small dent apx. 3/4 of an inch long on the bottom of the left can that happened when I had my chain replaced. It's on the very bottom of the can and can't be seen when can is mounted on the bike.

No, but what the hell, since they don't have harbor freight in Brandon, and you MIGHT have to drive to Pearl to find one to look at, I'll take a picture for you tonight.

Where do you live in Brandon? I lived in Jackson/Florence/Monterey for years. My wife grew up about 2 miles from Whitfield.
The Pearl store sucks. They have the tire changer on display but most of the pieces have been taken off so that is of little help. But from the looks of it in the pictures, I'll pass.
I live north east of Brandon about 10 minutes, out in the country.

I do track days on my XX once a month. If your intent on dragging a knee, you MUST get your butt off the seat, about a cheek and a half. I'm 6ft tall and I have to have most of my butt off the seat to get a knee down. Does dragging a knee make me faster, not really. Maybe psychologically it does. Rest assured...if you DON'T get off the seat YOU WILL DRAG HARD PARTS. Often times with BAD results. A lot of it depends on the track your on. Some tracks have more sweeping turns, others are tight and technical.
I'm running Pilot Powers with 28 to 30 psi front and rear and stock suspension.

I have 28,987 on my original CCT and it still quiet.
Now that I mentioned that it will fall apart the next time I start the bike

I wish there were a digital gauge I could install on my 99. I'd like to see what temp the Bird is actually running.
