  1. I went with the decreased front tire wear option. That is what I had on it previously. I do have a slighty used 16T that I pulled off if anyone is looking.
  2. Got my new chain & Sprockets today..... http://cbr.geckobox.net/forum/viewtopic.ph...p=204796#204796
  3. WOW! First off, I bought a chain from those asshats at Chapparall and it took weeks just to get the wrong chain. So when I went to sent it back I knew it would take twice as long to get the correct one (if I ever did) so I placed an order with these guys: www.sprocketcenter.com in California and had the whole setup in days, already to length (not that it's a big deal to cut them down) I got this setup for $200: here's the direct link: http://www.sprocketcenter.com/detail.aspx?ID=297 You can specify std or lower gearing. I will definately use these guys from now on!!

  8. Ok. Just had a MAJOR problem with these people. I have liked them as long as I had received correctly. Now I know thier customer service SUCKS!!! They don't care about you at all, as long as they have your money they are done with you. story.... I had ordered a chain from them for the bird. They were not the cheapest, but I was having a hard time finding someone that could sell me the gold one, they could. I got the chain the other day and I drive out and borrow a friends chain rivet tool and I'm getting ready to install the thing. I dump the chain into a tub with naptha in it so it can dissolve the cosmolene (white greasy stuff they are shipped with) and go ahead and break my old chain off. When I go to pull the chain out, I'm drying it off and notice that it's a 520VM! Shit that won't hold, I grab the box and apparently DID packaged it wrong, the box is right. Now I know that this is not Chaparral's fault at all they are just passing it along. BUT when I go to call to find out how to get this going the quickest. My thing was to try to get them to get another on order while mine was on it's way back since they were on backorder and it took a bit for it to get to them. I hit a brick f'n wall, the girls who answer the phone in customer service had an attitude from word one. I was told by the girl in customer service <snotty tone>"Dude, that is all we are willing to do, afterall it isn't our fault!"</snotty tone> I mean come on, DUDE? They want me to send it back first then they will get one ordered or I can buy another one and they will credit me when they get the faulty one in. Again, I know it wasn't thier fault but what happened to servicing what you sell???
  9. One of the many reasons I'm not wating my money on one. Those things need to have the tolerances held very close.
  10. What Joe said, measure. I would bet that you got a brace that came out too large on the i.d. It is more likely a machine shop to turn one out that is too big than your forks being too small (measure those too just so you have the info) if the forks were worn that much you would have oil leaking out all over the place. Get you brace somewhere where they can accurately measure the holes, the difference in holding and slipping could be as small as .005" so unless they can measure that closely then you are spinning your wheels. Also, it could be there is not enough clearance in the clamp (not allowing it to clamp before it bottoms out). Any of these problems is prolly from the machine shop that made them so more than likely they are going to be the ones who can tell you what the problem is.
  11. Garage not attached. Didn't dilute at all, Honda stuff it 50/50 outta the bottle. I almost think it was coming from the cap, but it was dark and I'll check it better when I get home this afternoon.
  12. HAHAHAHAHA! :flipoff: I wish I had the room to get the bird in.
  13. I only added some water wetter to the antifreeze mix. I know the Honda stuff is a 50/50 mix but I would have though it would have been enough to keep er from becoming a popcycle.
  14. Walked out to the garage last night and there is coolant puddled under the bird. Not a little....alot, like 1-1/2 ft diameter. I don't know what happened, she just puked. Any ideas what may have caused this? I can't imagine the the coolant froze but I suppose it's possible we did have a week a while back where it go down to like -25. I haven't checked the coolant, I always use the Honda 50/50 and last year I added some water wetter to try to get the thing not to overheat.

  18. I can paint em for $40....
  19. NO!!! It doesn't look like you have near enough on until you fully install it and , damn it's dark  .
  20. She told me the same thing  Such a tramp, your mama is. I know, and you both sill owe me $50 each!! pay up :twak: I don't mind giving her back the $50 she gave me but you will have to get it from her.
  21. BTW...you really have to be carful with how much tint you use. It doesn't take near as much as you think it does.
