Never overheated or runs hot when moving in clear air. Temperature did not change with Evans vs glcol.

Has ran warmer overtime than when new especially at slow speed or idiling in hot weather.  I have tons of bent fins, have straightened and cleaned many times.  Evans was another way to reduce pressure such that if you took a rock and had a small leak you would not loose as quickly like Noreen experienced one year.  That is why I'm interested in a radiator with straight fins and better shape.  I have changed the cap and bought new thermostat as I wonder if it's opening all the way, just haven't swapped yet since I haven't been overly concerned as I have never seen over 226.  Runs 186 to 200 most the time when moving.

If Joe doesn't have one, check ebay for a replacement. My RC51 got a pin hole in one of the side radiators last year. What a huge pain in the ass to replace 1 radiator but 2 makes the fun that more exciting. Everyone is insane of keeping the RC51 running only oem parts or you are cursed by Nicky Haydens ghost. My RC was laid down by previous owner so it sports cheaper Chinese plastics and other aftermarket bits along with 2 brand new radiators I have had zero issues with and she will run hot quick with Honda's design.

I bought them on ebay for around 80 dollars for the set.

    Silicone is not 100% watertight,

Those with silicone radiator hoses need to be aware that those hoses are 15-20 times more permeable to water than epdm (rubber) radiator hoses. A study done by Gates in heavy equipment found that an average epdm hose equipped truck would lose 1 qt of water per year through the pores in the hoses. The same equipment with silicone hoses would lose 20 quarts of water in the same timeframe. Only water is lost, the glycol remains in the system. If one were to top up with coolant or 50/50 mix, it will disturb the ratio and will end up with more glycol than water in the system.

I use a plant based protein drink with no added sugar, and add real cacao powder and ice with some 1/8 teaspoon of monk fruit and quick squirt of stevia liquid, and it tastes like a good chocolate shake.

    what is the calcium amount?

I avoid dairy myself due to calcium and kidney stones, even the almond milk and others have the same amount or more calcium than regular milk.

  4. Warp just installed a new exhaust on his CBX and think a couple other small things. Said it was a damn nightmare to work on that bike, took most of the day.

Soon as I saw something to work on a CBX I understood your frustration.

I'm not vegan.  The post was about someone else.

Not vegan but you're fully aware of what you eat and how it directly affects your body in a way that most people simply don't care. Others don't fully understand why McDonalds fries has 50 ingredients but believe that diet coke they order will offset it.

Dinner the other night had me all excited for fresh corn on the cob from local produce stand. Need to get some fresh brussel sprouts, been craving those grilled with a little balsamic vinegar.

I’m sure it still costs money, but don’t most people use a cheap aftermarket body kit in place of the OEM plastics and paint/decal as they please because it’s cheaper and more expendable?

Yes, cheap if you figure race body work runs from $700 to $1000 primer coated unpainted for normal and several thousand for carbon fiber.

Go take a look at sportbiketrackgear.com, everything is expendable in track riding.

After walking away for a bit I went back at it...found a bad connection between the stator plug in and the rectifier...I was able to resolve that and its sitting at 13.0 at idle and slowly rises with the throttle even at operating temp...the true test will be on a road test tomorrow!!

    Thanks everyone!

These readings were while riding as well as on the stand

Oh no! well I bought it over a year ago as a spare so maybe its not one of those?!

Sounds like you might have gotten lucky with the plug. My issue was 2yrs ago or so. Only reason I with Rick's was stator rewinding place I normally use was closed as the owner was having health issues.

Random. I got 3 different camo decals. Just cut them in random shapes, random order. Whatever felt "right".

When I put all pieces on the bike I laughed hysterically for couple minutes. Looks that good in person. Lol.

Let's be real. Going to the track is retarded in first place, no trophy, costs arm and leg, and you could get injured.  Seriously. Speeds are stupid. The only positive is I don't have the need to ride that aggressively on the street. And, above certain level race track speed does not really do any good for your streets riding. Kinda like mastering F16 won't do shit to your Cessna flying skills.

So, anyone who does that is fucked in the head to begin with, why to pretend you are serious, adult person. 🤔

    Now, I don't see fish.

I almost had my son use his vinyl cutting skills to do my track bike with a huge Indian motorcycle logo on the sides and decal it out as such for fun. Its a track bike, all for fun and enjoyment. Rattle canned paint job worked for me, random stickers and logos of what's on it was his idea minus the number plate.

  9. Ricks stators are made in Thailand now, had one last a whole 70 miles and half of those miles were me turned back trying to get back home while I watched my voltmeter tick down.

  10. Auto Stethoscope, listen on startup for general location and see if you can pinpoint it down.

I have even used a short 2ft paint roller extension stick to pinpoint problems in the past. Press against your ear and listen.

Naturally keep digits and loose clothing from belts and other spinning crap.

  11. Have you not seen the lock picking thread in the pub?

Don't trust a common padlock to secure that trailer, people would spin it and either pop that lock in seconds or just hook up the chains and haul ass.

Look into a trailer ball hitch lock system. Some are better than others and even help lock up the safety chains.

I just replaced a spindle on my riding mower and YES, they do offer a worthless grease zerk that lubes nothing.

The bearings ARE sealed. There is validation to Mikes concern. Those spindles are not rebuildable.

No idea why they put a grease zerk there. Sealed bearings already have grease.

Bought this spare spindle years ago. Now they offer them with a grease zerk that does nothing.

    Go figure😑

If you removed one seal, how many pumps of grease would it take to blow the other seal out?

Vertical shaft, how would the grease stay packed in the upper bearing? Bullshit.

Buy a new dbl sealed 6203 bearing.

Grease fitting be damned. WTF did you drive over that made the rotation of the blades come to an instant standstill?

  13. Ever noticed how drinking all those glasses of water took forever and so tiresome while a 12 pack of beer will just disappear in a few hours?

Yes most people are dehydrated everyday of their lives, watching Eddie Hall who drinks a large amount of water everyday to stay hydrated did a health check video and his doctor still told him that he is dehydrated.

Fine line of between hydrated and water intoxication.

I wish we lived closer to Moriah's sister so we'd have a great supply.  These blue ones are that good though.

I'm guessing that our dogs would love chickens.  Tastes like their dog food.

Coworkers husband went to fill a propane tank at tractor supply last week, forgot about the propane and returned with 15 chicks. She was pissed.

Trying to talk her into needing goats now.
