  1. if no one else has jumped on this, i'll take it.
  2. recently came into possession of this chain and can't find the associated master link elsewhere. please pm me with any replies. thanks in advance.
  3. thank you for that update. .... any chance that you'd like an undertail? .
  4. the undertail is still for sale. still in the box. still 2003 black. price is $200 USD plus shipping. someone please buy this fucking thing. or i will be forced to photoshop shamwow vince selling it. you don't want me to do that.
  5. this is the a640: only used a couple of months, before transferring to verizon. phone works like a champ, and still looks great. comes with original box and supporting documentation. and standard wall charger. make me an offer. anything goes, it's just sitting around here. oh, and if you're looking for a well-used treo, my old 650 is still up on the block. both phones are best offer.
  6. i can't believe that no one has commented on this. if you were on my side of the country, i'd be doing my best to get into a car like this. hope you get more leads up in your neck of the woods! brett
  7. i'd like two, as i have two custom-built oops receivers (they're plastic, but the carbon-fiber stickers make them look authentic ) and i would like to use currency other than "traditional" legal tender: a 3/8 inch drill bit, forstner style, wicked dull a 9 inch usb cable that came with a .8 megapixel digital camera an unopened box of triscuits from my 1991 bills superbowl victory party an illustrated kama sutra featuring ricardo montalban and gavin "captain steubing" macleod dog leash training dvd narrated by carol channing a 16 inch long 2x4 with the phrase "long live gil gerard!" lovingly wood-burned into it a vhs tape of an obviously drunk sandy duncan reciting dirty limericks and a v-belt for the drive system of a 1982 craftsman 1.0hp air compressor as i am unable, obviously, to determine the vast value of such a trove, i'll leave it to you, the groupbuy moderator, to tell me what i might expect as change. thank you for your time.
  8. warchild would have done this differently. 1. we would have all heard about how great oops were (used by so-and-so racers, built of unobtanium, etc.). 2. he would have orchestrated the group buy, once he'd safely received his own oops, either steeply discounted or for free. 3. then, he would have told us that he tried to use the oops in some mythical hotel and the owner asked if he had anything to do with cbr1100xx.org (which remains, to this day, one of the single most unbelievable fabrications in the history of the internets). 4. then, once the group buy had gone hopelessly tango-uniform (say, for example, that the supplier didn't anodize the oops or the oops later developed severe leaks), he would have moved on to the next target, safely side-stepping suspicion because none of us has the internet doesn't have a memory. i'm sure i'm missing something. skull? feedback?
  9. yes sir, it is. crazy bretts'- where the prices are in-sane. i'm trying to get my side business off the ground and need to eliminate stuff to help my financing.
  10. if you're looking for an aftermarket one, i have this one available: http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=56684
  11. my personal timeline of thought: i agreed with him when he said this much. certainly not an unreasonable stance, given that our bikes aren't all identical. he's independent, he's aggressive, he drag races. so far, so good. this is where i realized that he had sand in his vagina. this is where i realized how useful a douche nozzle could be if you had sand in your vagina. this is where i realized that he was a douche nozzle. i'd normally take a moment to explain how great this forum is as a resource for technical knowledge, riding experience, wrench questions, jokes, and yes, friendship, but i'm not convinced that we'd want him to stick around. despite his owning 3 blackbirds. perhaps he should ask for input over on the premier forum.
  12. unrealistic asking prices should also be ridiculed. ugh. 2+ years ago, when i got my tax refund, i blew a large amount of it on this undertail. eff me. . i just hope someone gets some use out of it. i also feel that i need to get it out of airbornexx's garage. proceeds from this sale will go towards some new givis for me- can't wait to get rolling with those! brett
  13. bought brand-freaking new 2+ years ago. been sitting in bretts' garage ever since. i only seem to remember it during NeXXt. i have come to realize that i probably won't be putting it on. given my size, riding style and rear suspension, i'm not sure it would play well with my pyramid hugger anyway. so here it is: mine is black (the '03 black) and has red tail-lights, but otherwise is identical. i paid $340 for this brand-new back in '06. i don't know if they even still make them, honestly. now asking $200. reasonable offers entertained. unreasonable offers will be posted here for further ridicule and embarrassment.
  14. an excellent point, sir. i had the jaws crash mushrooms (see photo). now i have the jaws crash mushroom. i would also need the spacer and the correct bolt to attach the item to my upper lower fairing mount point.
  15. honestly, calling them "crash mushrooms" is a bit of a misnomer. they're more appropriately titled "kinda tipover mushrooms" because when stefan, brett, matt and i had our little get-together in west-virginia in '06, they didn't do anything except pull more of the fairing away. so my goal here, really, is to ensure that if i crash, and both sides somehow make pavement contact, that both sides get the fairing pulled away equally. i just need one. quote a price, send me a pm, whatever.
  16. being a convoluted group, i thought i'd put this on here as well as on ebay and craigslist. someone around here probably needs one of these things. Microboards Print factory prf-100-01 spr#: prf30448 my friend and i are asking around 500 for it, which seems reasonable after a quick ebay search. hell, make an offer- we'd like to see it gone.
  17. it sure as hell is! thats what that ringo program does. i used movie quotes typically.
  18. 2 comments- 1). everyone *does* see that it says obo, correct? and 2). given a normal case, the wear at the top of the screen (the chrome portion that frames the screen) wouldn't be visible. thought i'd throw that tidbit out there. brett
  19. since upgrading phones, i've come to realize that i've kept some unneeded equipment laying around. my impatience with clutter is someone elses' gain. up for sale: a well-used and beloved sprint treo 650. comes with: 1- power cord 2- sprint installation cd 3- battered case which should probably be replaced just about immediately 4- bundled software which i won't (or can't figure out how to) remove you might want to buy: 1- an sd card to put stuff on. this phone has rather limited memory, so i used a 512Mb microSD card (with adapter) and it worked like a champ. yes, there are battle-scars (note, for example, the touchscreen where countless hours of playing solitaire have taken their toll on a single small portion of the screen), but the phone is intact and works well. additional software, not originally on the installation cd or on the unit itself: 1- a billiards game, which is ridiculously addictive 2- cellebrite- a phonebook exchanger client 3- filez- a program which allows you to view and edit typically unseen files on the palm os 4- ramchess- exactly what it sounds like 5- ringo- a utility for making mp3 ringtones on your phone 6- isilo- an e-doc reader (with: the adventures of sherlock holmes, legend of sleepy hollow, politics by aristotle, theory of relativity, US constitution & declaration of indep., oh, and hitchhikers guide to the galaxy) there might be others- but thats all i see right now. brett
  20. note to anyone looking to purchase this vehicle: the fucking fuel-filler door release is on the rear of the center console, between the front passenger seats. i repeat: the fucking fuel-filler door release is on the rear of the center console, between the front passenger seats. .
  21. although the topic title has been changed to "SOLD", i'm going to go ahead and say bump anyway. because i'm a dick.
