  1. It appears that the Tsunami has affected the Blackbird here in the States.

Looks like I may not be able to get any more CCT's due to the lack of manufacturing and

exporting from Japan after the tsunami.

I have my dealership searching for more but it appears there are none left in the

American Honda distribution centers and the Canadian and Euro centers want 4 times

    the price plus shipping !!

Still have fingers crossed to find a few but the first one is for me to have as a

    Reserve myself!

If dealerships have any on the shelf I am trying to get them to part with them and send them my

way under the guise that they will never sell since the Bird is long gone and no longer riden in America. :icon_whistle:

    Hey John,

How can i bring cct's back from japan,If i find any, when im over there mid july? What do i claim them as?:))

For customs I just say they are metal bike parts !

    Obviously valued at $5.00 apiece!

    Thanks man. :icon_evilgrin: 5 dollars

  2. I've talked to a "bearing guy" and he assures me there is nothing special about the MRC bearing except the price . . . and that is "special" in a Special Olympics kind of way. So I will be going with the bearings instead of the adapter, since the bearing option now costs 1/10th what I thought it would, and I won't have to keep waiting.

    "WOW"

  4. That said, unless you're an uncommonly heavy guy, the XX does pretty well stock for two up. It's oversprung in the rear and undersprung in the front, which is perfect for an added load behind the rider. Having my 115lbs wife on the back actually made my XX handle better when the suspension was all stock.

    .

    +1 Dito

  5. The direction I'm going is to make just anough changes to put the parts on and leave the bbird as stock looking as possible. The lighter ZX wheels and more adjustible forks make this mod a pretty attractive proposition.

    Thanks

the zx wheels are actually 3-4 lbs heavier.

Id go with the Pyramid, The seat still comes off like normal, the cowl stays with the seat. The only down side is you have to remove the grab rail for modify the cowl to slide under it.

there are no modifications to the grab rail. I have this on my bike and tha grab rail in place. I havent had to do anything to install or remove it,And imo its the nicest look for the bird. :))

  7. a little low, my dyno 2 months ago all stock, 182.43 RWHP at 12,500 RPM. some have told me this was a little high. I am running a 23 tooth front what do you have. Ron

    ROFLMAO
