  1. just curious, are these additional parts, or have you been waiting for piece's to complete the kit you ordered, with the exception of the gauges? Maybe i need to read the whole thread again for info on this kit..ooh lazy me
  2. the zx14 swingarm bolts right up i used the xx bolts. i have a 07 front end..don't know if the front end after 2010 changed One thing about the front fender. its wide and blocks the air to the radiator and engine with those fins on the sides. they send the air right over the side fairings. check with stan on a bracket for the shock, but i have the zx shock and a bracket made for it by stan. cant use your shock, sale it to get money for parts, or a ohlins for the zx and have the bracket made. like eric said...take your time gathering your parts. i was xtremely lucky to come in just under a grand doing just that. i would have done even better if the $%@^% f n bearings wasn't 200. keep a eye out on the zx14 board for the company that buys them and sell the parts bcoz they make those 3 wheelers using the engine. i got both my wheels 1 mile for 225 with rear sprocket hub and brake rotor. front end complete minus fender for 410. swingarm and shock 60 front rotors 50 front fender 30...so you see there are deals out there take your time.. but there was also some modification work stan did for me to mod some parts but for the most part 1150 maybe my cost total. My build was fun i didn't post pic's but have spenty
  3. I'd suggest a leak down test... Less than 6% leak down and you're good to go. Even a couple % more won't bother it as the turbo won't care... I checked a 55,000+ mile BB engine and got less than 3% leakage...but not all are the same. Thx hank, im at 57k and thats a good and easy test to do. This setup for the fi bird comes with a pc if needed, is the pc already mapped for the system? if so cool. and if you have a pc already is a map setup sent with system? or downloaded. To lazy to reread the whole thread. We have a starter map but insist once installed, each bike be run on a dyno or run with air-fuel ratio tester that logs the readings. Air fuel ratio under boost to be adjusted to yield 11.5/1 A-F ratio. Boost pressure + lean mixtures = melted pistons / OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY! We can omit the PC from the kit for guys who have them already and lower the price accordingly and supply the map. Hank THX HANK

  5. Adding a turbo to high mileage bike's. Whats the risk? what would you need to prepare a bike with 50k+ without mod's to the motor for this turbo or any turbo to bolt it on without further engine work.
  6. Dear donlw676etd, hi friend, i measured it just now, i think core size: 380*240(239)*26mm, 1row. Inlet/outlet:16/16mm. I hope this will be helpful, i also took some pics, if you need, plz let me know your email, i will send them to you for a further confirmation. Thanks! - asi_performance Dear donlw676etd, hi Donald, it's my fault, i offer you a 60%discount, it means 60%*original price, but AUD295 is the price including the shipping cost. So the right basement price should be USD247. therefore, the right price should be 60%*USD247=USD148.2 if order above 10pcs. Donald, i am really sorry about this, i neglet the important info. hope you can understand and think it's acceptagble. Thanks! - asi_performance I cancelled the group buy for now, im talking to a middle man and not the original saleman (kevin) and as you can see from the above messages i've received from the middle man, things have changed. Hopefully kevin will clear this up and we can proceed. There are more members interested in this group buy over on the cbrxx site. there are more then enough to do this already, but the price went up 22.00 usd shipping the same.
  7. Yes it's now 177 to us , i think the ad said 30 to 50% no mods needed. and (kevin's) coworker gave me the 30 to 45% Get dimensions of the core..... or I won't be interested. The size of the core and the number of tubes vertically and horizontal is everything... it doesn't have to be wider and taller if it's thicker, get it? Hence no mods needed to fit, but.... thicker cores aren't as efficient in comparison to thinner but wider and taller cores. Dimensions, Dimensions, Dimensions...... I sent them a message about that, I haven't gotten a response yet.
  8. Yes it's now 177 to us , i think the ad said 30 to 50% no mods needed. and (kevin's) coworker gave me the 30 to 45%
  9. so far as 1 of the five countrys i sent them for shipping quotes australia was one. as more people decide i will add more addresses. this thread is also on the cbrxx site
  10. Yes, I'm told they bolt right on, no mod check ebay link
  11. Moderator i don't know if this is in the right forum,so let me know. thanks. I'am looking into getting a larger capacity aluminum radiator, 30 to 45 % larger. I'am talking to asi-performance out of china to do this for us if you're interested. I've gotten a price sofar at 127.00 per. above 10 ordered, normally 317 per. If you want to check this radiator out,You can find it here www.ebay.com item#290618649251 I was looking at there item info again and saw they are only offering free shipping to the usa, i sent them a message and they asked me to get a list of countries that might want a radiator and they would send me a price for those area's shipping cost. they are giving us this price at 60 % off. Im writeing the names of the country's down as i see those who are interested hopefully they will include more countries for free shipping. I just received 11/2/2011 a e-mail telling me KEVIN, He's the contact there is out the office until nov 11 so i let the person who contacted me know, i would wait for kevin to return so that we don't have to start over tring to get this done. but in the meanwhile that gives me time to get more countries of those interested in this group buy on my list to send to kevin for shipping cost, when he returns. UPDATE UPDATE 11/3/2011 i JUST RECEIVED THESE E-MAILS FROM ASI_PERFORMANCE Hi Donald, Kevin told me that the discount he offered, he also told me the discount price are not postage included and can't be free postage also. I just quoted a shipping cost to the countries you listed, plz check, hope it will be helpful ,thanks! Hi, since above 10pcs, i already offered a 60%discount, so it's hard for me to offer free postage also. for the shipping cost, I can offer USA members as US$50. For Sweden, Canada, Austrilia, Finland, i can offer US$65 Hope this will be helpful, thanks! I WILL KEEP ADDING COUNTRIES TO THE SHIPPING LIST. 11/7/2011 cancelled this email i just received after making sure the price was right.this is what i was just told from ASI. so i'm out dealing with them, unless the original person i was speaking to comes back and straighten this out. Sorry but i tried. they want 148.00us + 50 148.00=65 to other 40% off this is what the email said below. i think 60%discount means 40%off ,but not 60%off ,thanks! - asi_performance

  14. so the hyperpro spring will work? with the spacers that stan made. I know a guy that's going to have a stock XX shock with about 27K miles on it and a 1000lbs Hyperco spring on it for sale cheap. I'm a little confused by your post... but I'm also not fully awake yet either... But I'll try to answer.... ON the R1 shock...... Hyperpro spring will work, but only with the spacers that Stan made. On the stock XX shock... a 8" Hyperpro spring will work, with the addition of a 1" spacer, both of those bought from http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm? , Then you also have to buy 3 adapter plates from Race-tech.. http://racetech.com/ProductSearch/2/Honda/...100XX/1997-2003 , In the end you'll have a stock Shock that works much better for about $160 after shipping. As for the guy with the Stock XX shock with the 1000lb. Hyper spring already installed.... That would be ME, as soon as I get this R1 thing figured out, and as far as CHEAP.... I'll be open for reasonable offers. (I just put the Hyper spring on it 2 months ago) Thanks Eric, Gotcha! And i'll wait for the finished result.
  15. Looks like a normal cable end carrier that when you loosen and remove the top cable from the lever, it should be loose enough to drop down in the lower cable holder so you can slide the cable wire through the split and remove it.
