Ok, I fucked around on this too long! I'm going over to the spring place right now. When I get back I'll post cost and collect payments. I have to prepay the order in full, so I'll ask that everyone that wants one do that also. I'll account for all the costs as soon as I have them.
Carlos,
Count me in for a 16.8 Kg!
Let me know how much, payment plans, where to send it!
thanks
take care
I will not be needing the shock anymore
Please cancel my order

Carlos,
Do I need a spacer to correct the ride height (5 to 6 mm)?
What about those springs 16.8 KG? are you going ahead with it ?
I sure can use one!

If the preload is set to the max (7), I assume this is change geometry slightly, should I had a spacer to compensate to the adjustment?

I ‘m proceeding with the 900 RR rear shock installation. For those who have done the installation, what are the setting for the preload ramp, rebound and compression?
My weight is 170 lbs. without gear so I guess another 20 lbs. with gear. I also have the 3 Givi cases. I also ride 2 up sometimes (she’s 115 lbs.)
Should I set the preload to the max of 7? I got the 16KG spring on the RR shock before installing it. I know I have to measure the sag but since the preload is hard to get at, it would be easier to take an educated guess at it first
What about the rebound and compression, should they be set in the middle to start? ?

Interesting concept!
Hopefully they will propose something interesting!

Warchild, that's exactly how the OEM pads looked. Wonder if the EBC HH pads will do the same or not but at least the pad midlife swapping can surely help.

Carlos, it's supposed to be aiming up and therefore creating this balance feel

While doing a routine check on the brakes I noticed that one pad on the left front brakes was totally worned out. A little more and the rotor would have taken a hit. What's strange is that all the front pads were 1/2 worned for the exception of one pad. That pad was also not worned equally. It was kind of worned into a slope. I think that Warchild had posted some picture of this.
Has anyone experienced this? Could this be due to the linked brakes?
It is as if more pressure was applied on one side of it. The XX has 17 Kms on it .
