Fuck that, you have to use Castrol Syntec, 5w50... I use it in my truck, track bike, lawn mower, 4 wheeler, snow blower, popcorn, my other truck, my other motorcycle, for anal....

I would probably just use some rethreading compound, put it on the bolt, screw it in, let it set up, unscrew it, then repeat. I had a 1984 Audit 4000S that ran for a total of 225,000 miles with this done to a fuel line (hell, I used black, hightemp silicone to seal up the radiator for an additional 125,000 miles too. Car, when I Sold it for what I bought it for had 315,000 miles. Quick fix, will hold, then next year you could sell it.

Strange, I have pushed rivets out for 3 years with mine after grinding and no trouble. Actually, now I just cut the chain with the Dremel as it is quicker then pushing the rivets out anyway.

Bottomline, a 190 on any rim will not be as responsive and turn in as good as a 180, FUCKING PERIOD!!! AND YES IT IS FUCKING NOTICEABLE. AND NO, YOU CAN'T FUCKING AVOID IT. Ain't Physics and Geometry a bitch?????
Now, with that out of the way, since you are not going to avoid the 190 handling any better, issue two you want to solve is the look. Put the fucking 190 on the 5.5 and be done with it. You get the look and the same handling regardless.

If I remember right, others have tried and they do not fit, someone confirm! BTW, of course it affects handling, just depends on if you would notice. A 180 allows you to tip the bike in faster, 190 makes it more gradual.

I have used Sea Foam for the past 10 years in boats, wheelers, bikes and sleds. I will run a half can through my sled every other gas tank, just to keep water out (better then Isopropyl). The shit is a necessity for storing and is better by far (in my experience) keeping gas fresh then Stabil. Boats and bikes get it in the last gas tank before winter and snowmobiles get it in the spring. 4 wheeler is constantly sea foamed due to sitting many times longer then a month.
Bottles are 16 oz and treat up to 20 gallons. I always dump in more then is necessary. Here is their link. http://www.seafoamsales.com/

I was at Ikea last night buying my kitchen table' date=' chairs and bar stools and I ran into some laminate flooring they sell ther for $.99/sq ft. The best I can find at Home Depot or Menards is about $2.97/ sq ft. The Ikea stuff only has a 15 year warranty vs. the Home Depot stuff which is 20 - 25, but I am really thinking of buying it. I have about 230 sq ft. to do so the savings is significant. I have to buy all the finishing pieces at the Depot or Menards, but that is not a huge deal. Thoughts?

Thanks for all your help fella's. I am feeling really good about doing this shit. I am not going to do the foyer until I can do the two doors in the foyer, but I am going to buy all the materials at once. I will probably do the doors/foyer in Spring, the kitchen, sometime in February, the Roof/skylight, Spring/Summer.

Yes... by all means keep it if you like it. Skylites aren't that tough to deal with, heck I thought you didn't like the hole in your roof. Some poeple are funny like that.
No, I like the skylight a lot, I just hate the fucking water damage in this pic.

Tim, on another note, if we do the roof, can we just remove the skylight? I think I will tongue and grove the ceiling of the bathroom so with some insulation, I could just fill the skylight hole? Lets talk after I post the pics.

Here is a cool idea for you... remove the Skylight from the roof, but leave the opening inside, edge frame it with some molding , put a light up inside it that's activated by a wall switch, and the put a piece of frosted glass in - on the molding to make it look as though there is still a skylight there. :wink:
Later you can throw stuff inside it on top of the glass like dried leaves or twigs to give it an out-doorsy look.
That would not be very hard to do at all. Something to consider.

Yeah, I have thought about the laminate in the foyer, I just don't have the interest in doing something difficult! The kitchen I have no worries. There are no outside doors off of the kitchen, Gus's dishes are in the downstairs bathroom, nothing to get the floor wet up there unless something breaks really bad. What about real wood flooring in the foyer and kitchen. I will have to look into it.

The bike is fine, I WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK TO THEM FOR ANYTHING RIGHT NOW!!!! If you never saw an oil light, you are fine. First off, the XX is bullet proof, with or without oil. Second, the dealer has already prooven themselves useless and not thorough, what are they going to do for you that you haven't already done???? They will not take it apart, they will put it up on a stand, look at it, start it up, take it down and tell you it is fine. If that is what you need, great. YOUR BIKE IS FINE.
