Im going to guess $600 for the front forks?
-
That's great news!
Now, does anyone have any opinions regarding my Traxxion Dynamics versus GP Suspension question? LOL
what the cost on each one? If the difference is not that much?? It always comes down to the $$$

Really? Cleaning out the Garage, or just the rafters?
-
Hey does it work, I have been looking at it and the second hand never moves .........
Oh nice watch.
-
Add me to the list of a set...

Well, we will find out what "Mint" means with this seller.
Naturally, I paid more than I wanted to.
Steve was the first to speak to me wanting the "upper".
If I don't use the other pieces, I will offer them first here.
Yep, Ill take what ever you dont use Cal
-
I took a chance and put a bid on it.
Im gonna run the price up on you NBL

Steve, Plug and play would have been nice to finish out your titanium/silver two tone bird.
yes it would have, wish they were local so I could take a better look at them. The pictures just look like they have some rash on the lowers but could just be dirty or lighting
-
He e-mailed the photos. I can't seem to link the photos here.
Mint must mean something different than I expect.
Nice maybe but definatly not mint.
The photos were taken with a phone and the res is poor.
I "think" I see rash on one of the lowers. Better pics would tell.
Looked like all the mounting tabs are there. Paintable? Yes.
If you want it, go for it?
I'm out

Saw this on Craigslist
Not mine, and I have no affiliation with the seller.
Looks like a real good price if they are mint like the seller says. Maybe someone here can take advantage of it.
Thanks, I'm on it. I asked him to e-mail some better photos for review.
I already have and they dont look like "mint"

It was the starter switch assemble, really did not look that bad but cleaned it up and it worked!
One thing I did notice prior and as I was cleaning the starter switch is that the started did stick a little before I disassemble and cleaned it up. Now if I notice it sticking a bit again I will clean it prior to the headlight not working.
-
I will try the switch assembly first, question why both and not just the left one?
-
Bike is an 02, the headlight is not coming on high beams either.
I have tried a new bulb and checked fuse.
The only other bit of info is when trun the key on and the bike cycle through the high beam indicater comes on during cycle and goes off like normal, but when running and I turm high beam on with switch the indicater light does noty come or the head light.
Any ideas on where to look?

My wife said her ass/tailbone was sore for two weeks after our 3200 mile ride last year. Thought I would see if any of you has an Airhawk seat cushion for sale?
Thanks!
Oh never mind

I really like the 18T up here in the mountains. The ration seems to be much better
for this terrain. With the 17T, 1st always seems too low and 2nd too high, but the
18T solves that problem. It is a fact that starting up on an incline with the 18T requires
a bit more clutch slippage, however.
Im in the same boat, went up to 18T and love it, your are so right about before bouncing between 1st and 2nd and neither seems to feel right, the 18T solves the problem!
I have not noticed the lack of pull in mid range with the 18T, the other advantage is with the 18T the speedo is dead on.

What did you do , change it out?
Rode to shop - they checked codes, came up ignitions switch - they cleaned connections - eliminated codes
No Charge, in and out 25 minutes
And they have a new stripper, I mean girl at the counter and she is smoking........ her job talk to customers :icon_love:
Dealer? :icon_clap: And they say all of them are bad!
Did anyone say dealer, "shop" see name in tag line....
I think I even talked him into a FREE clean up on the map he did...
Yeah, but just wanted to make sure, it was EDR. Not many "shops" would even have a clue to how to get the codes much less fix them without "part changers"
getting involved.
Dealers included, would never "fix" a part.
Cool!
Yep EDR

Great day, 57 degrees and no RAIN!!!!!
On my ride when I would spin it up, around 9K and above the FI light would come on, did it at least twice that I noticed.
I could not tell any difference in performance, question is how do I check the codes or any idea what is causing the issue.... I have an 02 bird
thanks in advance

Thanks for the link. I just ordered a pair for my 2001. I left the old ones in my 1998 when I sold it. Less than half what I paid for the last pair, and half the size!
Why is everything about size with you?
Very cool cant wait to see the blue

Bent Forks?
in The Garage

What would be some symptoms if your forks are bent?
Just had a funny feeling up front yesterday on my way back from Phoenix, tire pressure was a bit low so I brought them up to correct pressure - that seemed to help but in the back of my mind I kept thinking is something wrong up front.
An now back from Sun to good Ol Oregon cold rain.
