Hi Everyone, My name is Brandon im from South Georgia, 24 years old, Been riding for 4 years and bought my Bird about a year ago. Its a 99XX with a full Yoshi exaust, K/N Filter, a couple cosmetic mods, I handmade a Chainguard out of Alluminum. Got a few other things on my to do list with it but those are for another day...well another paycheck at least.

Ive been reading in the Garage area about a problem ive been having, my FI light has started coming on at random times once on a trip home it stayed on for about 30 mins till i got to pull over and shut off then switch back on and it was gone, now when im on my way to work and if i have to work the throttle quick for any reason it comes back mostly like if i hit a bump itll come on, ill put it on the side stand and it will blink, i read that i was supposed to count the blinks, but it blinked at the same speed and didnt seem to end i counted up to 30 before i switched it off. I also read that you guys know of a downloadable tech manual, if someone could link it id appreciate it. And if you guys know of any thing else that i should look at plz leme know. Thx Everyone

Welcome Brandon,

Well I live near Tifton, and am twice your age. Fortunatley there is a speed limit, and not a age limit.

In the Garage is a section for important/usefull threads. It has many answers, and this manual. Not Automatic

I also have a hard copy if you need a look sometime.

Treat her right and she will be running hard 24 years from now. Post up if you know any good roads in SOWEGA. There are more birds around than you might think.
