Aftermarket header with stock muffler???

Do y'all know of an aftermarket 4-2-1 header that you could use with one of the stock mufflers as well as an aftermarket one? The reason I'm asking is because I'm interested in upgrading the exhaust on my 'Bird and I'd like to take advantage of the weight benefits of losing 1 of the cans and a better flowing header design (one without the wildly baffled Y-pipe like the stocker) but I'd still like the ability to switch back to the stock can if I need the bike quieter for long trips and whatnot. Any help you can offer is really appreciated.

You get more noise from the wind than the muffler on a long trip. The micron system is actully fairly quiet. Why bother with trying to put the stocker back on?

if you really still want to do it you could cut the socker and fab a mid for it.
