JB4XX Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Do our XX brakes have squealy indicators built in like a car or do they just go from good to bad when you burnt up the last of your pads? Sounds like some grinding going on up front when I pulled in the garage last night :? Quote
Redbird Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 No squealy indicators, grinding bad. You can simply get down and look at them and see what's left. Quote
97 exex Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 i just changed my fronts at the beginning of the season- it was doing the same thing. it would also shimmy a little once i was almost to a stop. i started using the back to get me through, but the front still engages and i still got a squeak. one side is probably gone. my clutch side pads were almost metal to metal. i'm sure it is getting time to change them.
