The edges had all pulled up so while doing the post ride de-bugging, I just pulled that ugly pad off. I would put another one there but it may cover up part of my red wings :roll: Quote

StPeteXX Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 I used bug&tar remover to remove the tank pad off of my old YZF. I used a bug scrubber with very, very light pressure. Rinsed with lots of water, towel dried, then applied 3 coats of 3m wax to the entire tank. Perfect results. Not a scratch, smudge or anything. Just like it was never there. Rich Quote
