an engine needs backpressure to work correctly

I once saw a video of the Senna crash, and it was long, very long. It described all of the information that was recorded by the on-board computer (dattalogger), and it said nothing about the exhaust.

What I do remember was that it said Senna's car touched the pavement, and that the subsequent bump in the road robbed the car of the needed down force.... yada yad yada.

But I haven't been able to find the exact video, ( but not for a lack of trying)
