Divorce forces sale of my 2003 Blackbird. Photo is with stock screen. Paint is in perfect condition - in fact I believe the bike is in perfect condition in every way. Original owner was 50 and I am 60 so its never been abused and never down. Has MRA Vario windscreen as well as stock. ConvertiBARS plus stock clipons, full Race Tech Gold Valve set and fork springs, steel braided front brake lines, sintered front pads, Power Commander, NIB DID gold chain and a set of NIB sprockets. Less than 7 K miles but if not sold soon it may roll over the 7 K mark. $6,650 with all farkels - let’s talk if there are some you don't want. Located in the Denver Colorado area.

Two weddings, my first grand kid and major cutbacks at my company have me thinking about selling my 2003 XX. With under 7 K miles, never down, all stock equipment plus MRA Vario windscreen, Dave's lowering pegs, P.A.I.R. removal kit, and convertibars, barided lines up front and with good rubber what kind of price do you think I'd acheive. Breaks my heart to even consider it but thanks for your help.

Looking for shock, Penske/Ohlins etc and aftermarket exhaust for winter time install on my 2003 Bird in snowy Colorado. PM or email me with details and price.

What rider weight was the Penske set up for and have you ever had it serviced?

what kind of corbin? smuggler? gunfighter? Sorry but I don't think I'll be able to make it this weekend as I have twins turning 15 this weekend. Joe my twins turn 15 this weekend so I'll have to past on the ride - maybe next time.

Aftermarket

Anyone looking to sell an aftermarket exhaust or shock that will fit my '03 Bird?

+1 On the MRA Vario. I'm 5'8" and on my 2003 Bird with the stock screen the air beat the crap out of my head. Now I can have it smooth or if I do something stupid I can adjust the Vario to smack me around to "teach me a lession". :icon_wall:

I installed a PCIIIUSB this week on my stock 2003 Bird and to me it made a substantial difference. I'm 58 and just got back into riding after suffering some body damage (mine) when I down hard on my CBR929RR about four years ago doing some Colorado twisties. Needless to say my skills were a bit rusty after such a long layoff and while I've had had a XX perviouslly, my throttle control was not exacly smooth as silk. The PCIII really smoothed everthing out and it also seems to run quite a bit stronger so I'm quite happy with the results. I'm sure I'll make other changes, like exhaust etc, so I'll be ready for those as well. BTW I got mine for $248 with no shipping from Absolute Cycle Performance in NJ which was the best price I could find.

Does anyone here have any experience using a ceramic coating for their exhaust, especially their headers? I have a 2003 XX and as most know the FI birds tend to run hot.
