Allowing this stuff to come in will lead to deaths, and lives saved and lives made better.  Kinda like the egg thing; regulated "safe" eggs vs. affordable and healthy eggs with the small possibility of death from a bad egg.

Totally unrelated.  This is about unregulated peptides which by definition can't be taxed, they just want to cut off the supply completely.

I think no, or sort of maybe?  The egg randomly kills someone without their participation if it's contaminated or whatever.  The unregulated peptides, as far as I know, have never directly killed anyone from contamination or things like that.  But now that TikTok is infested with bad peptide advice, people are doing stupid shit like overdosing, or buying things they don't know how to use, etc.

 

Some argue that regulation and prescriptions are needed to keep idiots from damaging themselves.  I disagree of course.

 

OTOH, for a while, almost everyone needed to do big research and/or find a person like me for guidance.  Now suddenly there are hundreds of thousands of "expert" videos on TikTok with very little info, very little accuracy, and pushing the idea of just doing it.  While everything I've done (and people like me) has been about educating without giving specific answers.  Teach them to fish...

That's the bit that caught my attention.  Maybe I'm wrong, but anything COMPOUNDED won't be FDA approved because a pharmacist is making it in lab.  Only the mass produced version is going to be approved by the FDA, but if the pharmacist used the same ingredients, it's the exact same thing.  To me, it was a clear scare tactic to get people to buy the brand name rather than find a more affordable option.

"FDA approved" is nowhere near as clear as everyone thinks.  Is vitamin C "FDA approved?"  Everyone I ask that says it is, but it's not.

 

Is Mounjaro FDA approved to give to an obese non-diabetic?  Nope.  That's why they relabel the EXACT product as Zepbound, which is FDA approved for fat non-diabetics, but is not FDA approved to treat diabetes.  If you're fat and diabetic, that's Mounjaro.

Compounding pharmacies buy the exact same thing I buy from the same Chinese sources.  Just like I teach people to mix it at home, and by the way, millions of diabetics have been doing this for decades without issue, they mix it for you.  But they have to "compound" it with another product to meet the regulations, so they add useless (but possibly problematic) B12.

 

Compounding pharmacies HAVE KILLED PEOPLE several times by contaminating batches.  I have never found evidence that home-brew ever has.  I have found cases where people thought they could lose weight fast by dosing at four to TEN times the recommendation and were hospitalized in grave condition, but not a death.

 

"Not FDA approved" is typical MSM/social media clickbait, and as you well said, calculated to create fear and lie without lying.

I should have added that the person I was talking to is the one who pioneered the three-peptide protocol that fixed Leon's knee.  Instead of $9k-16k for stem cell therapy, or surgery for even more.  It cost him almost $120 to get a supply of the products that can run five courses of the protocol.
