I use ULV foggers for the back yard and shop area.  (They are the ones that are like a blower, with a mist, not the propane/electric heated type.). And a small pressure sprayer for spot use.  The liquids at the home stores seem lame and expensive, lasting maybe two days.  They are from the consumer brands and probably toned down in some way.

I'm looking to improve on them, any recommendations?  The space is fairly small, so cost isn't a huge issue.  We want to eliminate mostly flies and other annoyances, we don't get mosquitoes often.  And I have long-term sprays that seem to kill them off.  Most of the listings for products tout mosquito killing as the primary benefit.

I'd never thunk of it, but I don't recall being annoyed by flying things at your house or at Marty's.

The garage was annoyingly full of them the day after you left.  I had fogged the day before you got here.  Marty's gets less of them but sometimes they are super annoying there.  I got him a fogger yesterday, I'm tired of it.  And another for myself, because the electrostatic one in the back yard is having problems again, piece of shit.

Don't know.

Chinese tiger mostly.  Which is why my ground-based treatments are 90% effective at least, and last a long time.

No.

Fuck off with a place that has either snow or bug season and nothing nice.

No go, the price has become astronomical with the fucking tariffs.

Damn.  Apparently your president loves the Chinese mosquitoes.

I considered asking you directly, but decided to do it here where others can see/learn.  What lead you to use the Cutter Backyard Defense stuff and why use it undiluted?

PSA-don't fog your yard with concentrated bug killer when there's wind, it will unexpectedly shift and shove all that shit directly at you.  Reason 857 I won't live to see 100+ years.

It was the only compatible option at the store.  Since then I did more research, which led to this post, and no new answers.  So fuck it, just keep using it.

Because it says so?  Seriously, not being a smartass, it makes it clear it's ready to use, so I don't understand the question.  The fogging machine sprays a TINY amount over a large area.

It's designed to be sprayed with a garden hose so it'll be quite diluted when applied in the normal way using their dispenser, that's why I asked.

Oooooh, wrong product!  This is oil based, would not work with a hose.

That was my fuckup, I had a picture of the hose one for Moriah to buy before, and sent it.

Ahh, now it makes sense.  The hose stuff is kinda thick and oily looking and doesn't mist all that great so I might try diluting it, once I test to see if it mixes ok with water.

Ryobi says to use water based only, don't use oil based products, says it can cause clogging and/or corrosion.  But yours hasn't died so I guess it works fine with that stuff.

Yeah, all of that is why I posted this thread.  NOBODY has real answers, anywhere.  I just used The Force and avoided the ones that said they were for thermal foggers.  Ryobi will not tell you what to buy.  Home Depot people, of course, are retarded.

I had two of the Ryobi electrostatic sprayers die, the second is at the service center now for 2-8 (!) weeks to be fixed.  Do they suck, or is it this oil product?  Dunno.  But these more basic sprayers seem to last forever.

It's amazing sometimes that we can beam internet from space with 8100 satellites but nobody can figure out how to fog a yard for insects.
