Joel Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) I’ve been looking at the major pushers of peptides to the general public for the last few months… Wellmd, Ro, Embody, etc…  Since I’m out of my zepbound samples and the group buy hasn’t commenced I decided to pull the trigger on an email I got from RO.  Their offer was, as I understood it, $39/mo for the membership and $149/mo for the zepbound medication(or cheaper if I committed to 3-6-12mo purchases) I clicked on the link in the email and it took me to their website and it showed the same information that was in the email.  Figured the group buy would come around in 3 months I opted to do a 3 month subscription and continued to answer all their questions. At the end “good news you’re approved” and I had to download the RO app and wait for the next steps.  Almost immediately I got notification to answer a few more questions and wait for the next steps. I answered all the questions in this section and immediately got taken to the checkout page which showed a breakdown of the cost and coverage of the Zepbound at which point it showed the membership cost to be $1200/yr and the medication $500/mo.  Uh what happened to the prices from the email and the previous pages in the questionnaire   I backed through all the pages to find the prices and when I got back to the prices page it showed the original prices that lured me in. 🤔  So I go through all the steps again and in the end get the same jacked up price without any explanation as to why the price is so much higher.  I go to their help section to see if I can find an answer. No luck. I call their customer service number only to get someone who barely speaks English. I couldn’t understand her so I asked to speak to the mgr. Apparently that didn’t translate to her because she hung up on me. I call back and get a guy who equally doesn’t speak English. Again I ask to speak to mgr and get hung up on. Wtf  Cautionary tale  Edited September 25 by Joel Quote
SwampNut Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I *am* for fucking sure on our current group buy. I didn't want to say I was, until I was, so much as gone wrong.  Yes, all of these, like Hims/whatever, are scammers.  1 Quote

SwampNut Posted September 25 Posted September 25 We now have a timeline, since the products are in the US and triple tested. They can ship out to me in a few days, and then I can re-ship the split to others here in a couple days.  Quote
SwampNut Posted September 25 Posted September 25 I've sent this to everyone who I think is interested, but if I missed someone... Â Reta 70mg (as tested), $513 Tirz 100, $327 KLOW 80, $328 (this sucks, my last buy was 35% less) Bacteriostatic water 30ml, $24 Â Figure on $25ish for BTC exchange and shipping. Quote
superhawk996 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 My friend/housemate gets his from some people who had a booth at a trade show, I think he pays $325/month. It shows up in a barely insulated bag with a small freezer pack which doesn't appear to have ever been introduced to the concept of refrigeration. Sometimes the contents aren't hot. And they apparently fuck up his order regularly. SwampNut Posted October 4 Posted October 4 So the same price as 100-150 weeks' worth at a typical median dosage. Also if it's ever over 86 degrees, it's damaged to some extent, per Eli Lilly.  I have a friend who is unsure about having his crazy Cuban friend supply drugs, so he walks into a pharmacy and pays for the real thing. I totally get that. Paying some random idiot at a sand rail show (I think you said that's what it was?) is obviously far worse. Guarantee you they are not doing the triple testing we are.  Oh, also, everything is on the way.  1 Quote

Yup. And I don't know if he's averse to getting it from you or just forgets to reach out. When I first learned he'd bought a package at the sand show I told him what it would cost from you, and that's it's very likely better/safer, and he was all in. Then..oh, look, a squirrel. 1 Quote
