Are blowjobs, roadkill, and honey vegan?

Vegan philosophy isn't "don't eat meat" as most people assume.  It's "as far as is practicable, do not exploit animals or cause them pain and suffering."

 

So roadkill should be vegan right?  It's already dead, you didn't cause anything.  In fact maybe it's unethical to not eat it, since now you're just wasting the life.  And you have to eat something else.

 

Honey is an animal product, but it can be produced either with or without harm to the bees.  Local, natural honey with minimal bee disruption should be vegan.  Mass factory honey farming however causes great harm to both bees the the environment.

 

Blowjobs?  Well, there's some controversy there too.  Here's a great post summarizing it:

 

The usual question is, "Sperm is an animal product. What do vegans think of blow jobs? Do they just not swallow?"

The point is not magical sequences of proteins or animal sources. It's about exploitation and while humans are animals we can give informed consent.

Nobody is going to strap me down and steal my sperm without quite a lot of romancing and a safe word.
