bryanhes Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Anyone have a set of the OE Pannier inner bags for sale or know of a company making a set that fit nicely? Quote
TOXXIC Posted August 18 Posted August 18 When I did a search: "david silver spares honda blackbird cbr1100xx oem pannier liners" This part number from Revzilla came up. https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/08L78-MKT-D00?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23353636785&gclid=CjwKCAjwhZDUBhBGEiwAbi5bjht3LvXUl2C8TaB704N4X8dvc9qED8cm1iG_0g8GOIaaOusu-I1DQBoC9SQQAvD_BwE I don't recall seeing many OEM Honda panniers fitted to Blackbirds in the US, which was why I tried searching David Silver Spares. I had Honda OEM luggage for a VFR800, and I recall the prior owner telling me he bought them from David Silver Spares, which I believe is UK based. Quote
SwampNut Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Yeah, I don't think they even made it to the US. There are a million bag liners all over Aliexpress, Amazon, and eBay. I bet that given the size specs you can find something, particular with an AI agent. 1 Quote
CALCXX Posted August 21 Posted August 21 GIVI and Beetle Bags is all I have seen for hard luggage here in the US. Never seen Honda OEM hard luggage for the Blackbird here? Bueller? 1 Quote

rockmeupto125 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 They are out there. I think they are the same as the Honda OEM bags for the VFR, just different hardware. Quote
tomek Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) I know it is a ghetto fix, but fake fabric bags from Aldi, those that are initially very stiff and with handles, after some usage they work very well as a bag liners. Of course, no zippers. But bonus points if you show up at expensivish motel with Aldi bags as you luggage. 🙃 Better than crash bags though. Edited August 23 by tomek 1 Quote
bryanhes Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 Thanks for the responses. I forgot all about this post as I was planning a two week trip from Tulsa area to Glacier NP and lots of places in between. I was sent a set of Saddlemen liners by the guy I purchased the OEM panniers from. Not OE but should function fine. 1 Quote
