It seems like the pad does not fit the contours of the stand. I tightened it up and after using it a couple of times it is slipping around. It looks like I may need to do some modification, but want to see what you did prior to proceeding. Quote

Weird, while I noticed it was not a perfect fit, I found a "notch" or specific position that seemed natural. I just went slow at tightening the screws in different ways until it sort of forced itself into a spot that is the most natural. A few minutes of fucking around. Shit, I forgot to ceramic coat it, and now it's dirty. Embarassing. Quote
CALCXX Posted yesterday at 03:57 PM Posted yesterday at 03:57 PM Perhaps I am just "use to it" ? Never found the XX side stand to be a problem. Big Suzi? Differant story on many levels. Footprint, Pad width and just can't stab it down like the XX without looking. Think I want one for Big Suzi. Quote

I've had the soles of my shoes stick to the ground in Bullhead City. 132 air temp and 200-ish pavement temp. Quote

SwampNut Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago I still haven't unpacked the one you sent me, but eventually it will be cold enough here. Actually it is too fucking cold already, and I've had enough of winter. Quote
CALCXX Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Today -- high of 67, low of 38. Sunny, might get Big Suzi out this afternoon. Perfect riding weather. Quote
CALCXX Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago FYI, this might be a little too far North for you. Oregon would be better. Just sayin. Quote
SwampNut Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago I spent a week in Portland for a job once. Didn't see the sun even one time. Around 9am it got slightly less gray and dark then returned to more dark and gray at 4pm. That is some fucked up shit. Quote
