I am intrigued as I have a couple hundred acre field adjacent to my house frequented by coyotes, skunks, deer, elk and cougars…

I am intrigued as all the light I have Peter out at 500-700 yards, and I like to clear the fields prior to letting our dogs out for their evening bio break.

Why are you getting ride of it? Doesn’t appear this model in the 900 lumen Pro?

i live in the city and it is much more designed for long distances. I have a lot of lights that I buy for various purposes or just because they’re cool. This one is the longest thrower I purchased and I used to shine deer or just go for walks and let the kids shine things far away for the novelty

the w5 pro is a newer light with similar throw capabilities. The increased lumens gives the light a bit more useable spill versus the laser tight beam of the w5.
I’m in a group of like minded flashlight addicts and while everyone agrees the spill is a nice addition to the beam profile most guys do not like the new color temperature…it shows as almost green and makes it difficult to get good illumination on objects.
i returned 2 Weltool lights this year already for that issue.

You apparently didn't listen to your president.  If you think there's danger afoot outside, just go out on your porch with your double barrel shotgun and fire two blasts.

Through the front door opening was the true punchline!

I bought this one about three or four months ago.  They were on sale for $129.95 and you got an extra free battery.  I love the dial a beam feature that very handily located right where your thumb is when holding it.  It's overkill for what I really need it for, but I've never been shy about getting some things that are overkill.

Fenix generally makes decent lights but they have had a lot of complaints about their dials. The sft70 emitter is great. For better performance and much lower price the Wurkkos TS28 offers tremendous specs exceeding that of the Fenix and can usually be had for under $40

The little one was Lumintop W3 LEP

however, if the TS28 might be of interest to you I can make you a short video tonight of its capabilities. That light may be a reasonable fit for what you’re trying to accomplish. It may struggle to get to the distance you want/need but there’s a ton of value in that light considering the emitter they use and the features on the light

If you have a TS28 I would love to see a video of it in action. Based on the range finder readings I provided you via text I probably really only need to be able to see 300-400 yards to clear the area around my backyard.
