Last month, I spaced out and left my compressor powered, all my energy sucking 8ft VHO flouresent lighting and my 5500w heater going with the thermostat all the way up for 4 days. YES just four days. Got my electric bill. Four days kwh consumed in the shop is exactly the same as the house kWh consumed for the entire past month. DOH edit to add, I should put an E-stop near the door and a shunt trip Sub Main breaker in the shop panel. Hell, I could make the door trip the breaker.
