Which will fit the XX under the little rubber plug in the tree ? One to the left is 13mm and one to the right is 19mm ????? Thanks

That is what I was thinking....spacers...or stack the washers. I am going to buy a new mount base and an extra one....because I already know that I will CRACK another one before I get it right. I wish this one bent...It was made of hard/thick aluminium..so it broke like a potato chip. I am sure you can see why it cracked....the curve wasn't deep enough ! Thanks Carlos.....

You all know that I had to replace the entire left hand switch assembly and the bulbs because of my need for everything to be overtightned I did what CBRXX suggested and got 6MM bolts that were 1/4 inch longer and mounted the GPS mount on the clutch fluid perch. Well the GPS mounting bracket notch didn't have a deep enough curve to reach the perch connector all the way...no big deal...It will be tight....the two pieces of metal just won't meet. Well....as I was WRENCHING it down the GPS mount cracked and broke ! Not repairable. So I was pissed and went out and bought those new Crafstman wrenches that have the wratchet device built into it...Very Cool tools I will never use ! So...I am off to find a different kind of GPS mount ! I like what Vern did...I just can't see myself drilling in to the tree..... Dave

Just went from stock pads to the EBC HH.....My rear brakes feel totally different. They actually bite now ! Change the pads !

Thanks guys...I just ordered a complete new assembly...and I will try Steves advise....on the clutch perch. Just a real pain in the ass !!! I also got caught in the rain on the way home...FUCK. Another entire weekend cleaning :roll:

I know that the dash on the FI model is held on by rubber mounts....but my dash always shook a bit too much. I took black ruber washers and folded them in half and slid them under the dash between the housing and the actual dash....FIXED ! Just in case anyone has the same problem.

Just ordered a whole new switch assembly 50 bucks at Ron Ayers...anyone ever switch this out ? What do I have to take apart to get to the leads to replace this ?

Oh by the way....the gps mount is between the clutch fluid reserve and the left grip....it squeezes between the high beam cluster and the reserve.

2 weeks ago I wrenched down the GPS mount as is got loose from vibration. Last night I went out for a 150 mile ride and upon the sun going down I noticed my low beam was out (Fucking 100W bulb thread) and earlier I saw a hot 12 year old female on the side of the road so I just had to honk....Actually about 20....but then no horn ? The button didn't even push in anymore. SO....I think by wrenching down the GPS mount I squeezed that whole instrument cluster and broke those two things inside. The whole unit is loose also. I opened it up and took it apart....can't see anything wrong....but what can I tell. So I put it back together and tightned the screws as tight as I could and it doesn't stay tight around the bar....It spins back and forth. SO....could the bulb be out...I don't think so...but possible. I am looking for recommendations and suggestions. I checked the fuses...no problems there. I definetly kind-a crushed the cluster...I am planning on ordering a new one from Ron Ayers by tomorrow....is this going to be difficult to hook up. When I took it apart I really couldn't see how the wires detached ? Any help is appreciated. Dave

I have had PIAA bulbs in my 99 Civic because they give off a much brighter white light when I am driving over the mountain at night. Not a single street light. One of them burnt out 2 years later....wrote to PIAA and the replaced them for free....They better...they were 80 bucks. The PIAA light in the XX were blue tinted glass...but white light. Not a single tint of blue when they are on. I may be one of the lucky ones. But for the car and the bike...PIAA has been great for me. Dave

What makes the PIAA the worst ?

I have had a 100W bulb in mine (PIAA) for over 5000 miles now....No problems at all. Bulb was 80 bucks for the set.
