I know I've seen some great ones, but never did find make/supplier. I'd like a clear lens, and a really bright brake light, preferably strobing. I'm not too wrapped up with integrated turn signals, but if it comes that way, so be it.

Any help?

Find the lens. the strobe part is easy.

I made this one myself.

Installed a 50led programmable strobe (or continuous on) light on the bottom.

Now that looks nice. I don't trust my skills cutting a clear lens open without ruining it, though - that plastic tends to be tricky. I'd have to do something like your top half, with additional overdriven LEDs to make the brake portion - mine's a '97, and about half the size of a '99+ housing.

Someone had one at TeXXt a coupe years ago, can't remember who - but it was very bright and flashy-flashy.

You can just buy some premade LED inserts and pop them in. Much like i did with the lower one.
