Birthday's actually the 8th, but she figured she'd better give it to me since I've been obsessing over which one to buy for two weeks. Would have picked up on or the other this week (also looking at a Ryobi and a Delta).

Jointer? Joiner?

I just built a bar in my basement, (mother-in-law recently moved after 4 years occupancy.) When the bar is done I'll post pics. I hate Home Depot. Made 4 trips there yesterday.

Yeah, I always have to think about the jointer/joiner thing. Gotta remember, the jointer cuts the joint, the joiner (like biscuit joiner) puts them together.
