fired the bird up, started smoking from the front, smelled like coolant. sufficiently freaked out, i yanked the bodywork and found the hose clamp on the lower rad hose to be loose. tightened it back up, all is well again.

i love this bike.

ya maybe i should sell this piece of junk. i need something that shakes the earth (and whatever fasteners may be loose)!

I had a loose lower hose clamp last spring.

Must be a common problem. Should we all email Honda and demand they fix this issue before we think of ever buying another Honda product?

I have a missing Frankenstein bolt, a chain that won't stay aligned, a noise coming from the motor at idle and above (I'm hoping it's the CCT), and growing crack coming from my left fairing. :???: This things as bad as my ZX-12.

I had to coolant leak issue as well at about 5000 miles.
