Okay, a buddy bought an '04 GSXR with a Yoshi header with high mount pipe. The right rear peg assembly was removed and replaced by a mounting bracket. He wants to be able to take a passenger, and I'm wondering how we can put a rear peg on the bike. Can't find any bolt on pegs...

The best option I have read is a long bolt with a bunch of washers.

Well, made it work. Used a 5" 5/16 bolt with a two chrome sockets- one spark plug socket with the rubber bushing and one standard. Couple washers and wha-la. She did mention that her foot slides on the "peg". It was a make-shift solution. May put some clear grip tape on one side.

Saw a Kaw that had a Micron high mount. They actually have a kit that allows for the rear peg assembly to remain on the bike. Talk to the guy about his exhaust and he mentioned a buddy who can machine sleeves for the assembly to go over the bracket. Looking into it...
