Hello,
I am looking for a new bike for me and i was looking at the CBR1100XX.
Could you give me some hints about what to look for and what is the best version for you guys, the carb or the injection?
Here in Europe we don´t have such long highways like you guys but there´s plenty country roads with very tight corners and the use i will give to the bike will be about 160 Miles in a normal weekend and 380 Miles at high speed (155 Mph)in the highway, this is my normal week.
Whta would you suggest me?
Batunas :)

I like the FI versions, but if you can get a carbed version at a good price go for it.

FI has these advantages:
Zero maintenance
Won't gum up if you let the bike sit around frequently
So far, I've never heard of any repairs to the FI
Programmable/tunable with an add-on computer
Better gas mileage
Less hesitation/flat spot at 5k RPM
Ram air for higher total HP at speed
Carb's advantages:
Less off-idle hesitation (can be tuned out completely)
Tuned with a standard jet kit, cheaper
If FI does fail, it could cost a mint to fix
You should look on the site in the FAQ for some other little things that were changed between years.
