Friend of mine just picked up a 2003 SV1000 with a Yoshimura 2 into 1 exhaust. Bike accelerates fine with no flat spots or hesitation. The bike is popping a bit on deceleration. Is this a normal thing with this setup? TIA

Exhaust is lean due to less backpressure from the aftermarket pipe, going to need rejetted or a PCIII and a map depending of if it is carbed or fuel injected.

Yes, it's normal with that setup.

I`d like to add those things are equipped with rain activated traction control.
