Is the stock front sprocket 17 teeth? I want to get better hiway miles by switching to stock or even going 18 up front...i cant remember what i have but i went -1 up from stock i know...if the size is indeed 17 could i got to 18 and still have some get up and go?

Yep, stock front is 17 teeth.
I don't know if anyone makes an 18 tooth for the front.......I'm not sure if it would even fit if they did.
I think your only option is changing the rear, but I don't know for sure.

Another 1 tooth larger in the front may not get you the mileage you expect. (And there may be some clearance issues) The engine may need to work harder at the same speed. (bigger throttle opening) It may be better to drop 1 or 2 teeth (at the most) off the rear. This might be a better compromise between speed, acceleration and mileage.

The eighteen tooth does fit with no mods. I have one on my turboXX.
Can't tell you whether it changes the mileage ect. until spring.
