looking to purchase an upper cowl fairing stay for the xx.
I am not sure if all years will fit but I need it to fit a 97.

Early is different from late. Early models had the bracket to hold the oil cooler.

Not straight. I got a couple like yours, though...if you'd like to have a pair of them.

buy a new one for 80 bucks or try to straighten yours.

They bend easy and most likely used fairing stays for sale are bent.

I agree, best to buy new as they are cheap and go on quickly. I have successfully had one straightened but it required a torch to heat it and soften it up.
