I'm in the market for a Micron full system 4-1, race baffled.
Anybody know an economical source for them? My local guy said $1400Cdn!
I can buy the Hindle for $950, taxes in, also Cdn., but engine "expert" says the Micron is the way to go for fit/power gains.
Can somebody hook me up?

Micron USA is actually associated with this dealership
http://www.dgy.com/ and if you ever come by, I'm sure one of us, Chicagoland members could take you there. This dealer unfortunatelly is known for being pretty steep pricewise, both with bikes and accessories....

I just bought the 4-2-1 race system with a carbon fibre oval can. It was $800 US$ in Vancouver, BC. Where are you in Canada?

I got a good deal on my Micron slip ons from www.ema-usa.com you might want to try them. Delivered to my door I think was about 950cdn, to Vancouver. But don't go UPS. Its a killer.

The collector on the 4-2-1 Micron system butts up against the corner of the back part of the lower fairing, so you need to be very careful how you fit the heat shielding supplied with the system. I bought the DEI exhaust wrap since I didn't place the heat shield very well and melted the corner of the fairing. I'll post some pics to show and maybe a sound clip later.

I'm in Ontario, and $800US is more like it. I'll check with the dealer I bought the bike from tomorrow, and see what kind of a deal he can cut me.
The Akra header has the same problem, melting the corner of the fairing. If it's really close, then I'll probably just trim the fairing to accomodate it.

When I got mine I used
http://www.hardracing.com because I knew they are very respectable.
I don't know if they will still do it, but they price matched
http://www.discountmotorcycleexhaust.com/ for me.
