I've been doing Atkins for 4 1/2 weeks and have only managed to lose about 12 pounds.
I'm treadmilling each morning and lifting weights each evening. Although I'm getting obviously thinner, I never took any measurements before I began the diet and now I'm only left with watching the scale stay the same... day after day after day.

The weight loss and size loss was uneven for me, but it was a lot. Stick with it.
Lately I've been losing size but not weight, strangely, but that's fine with me.

Start taking measurments now. Just cause you didnt start from the beginning doesnt mean that you cant do it. I highly recommend it, it can be very motovational.
Stay off the scale for a few days, it will be much more rewarding. I am addicted to the scale, and I actually had to have someone hide it from me in my house. It can bring you down when you step on it and dont see a change.
