anyone know what the headlights are? yea i know i could find out if i took em out but i figure someone on this board must have had to replace one at some time or another

Oh OH!!! That's me...THAT'S ME!!!

Oddly enought thought, the H4 will work, you just need to use a nail or a pin to keep it in the holder. Cheaper that way. I haven't however had to try it. I haven't blown a headlight yet, and it's been 5 years.

I picked up a set of Xenon immitations (i think that is the best way to describe them) from a performance car place locally. $20 for the set and they are much whiter and brighter than stock. I really like 'em.

i found a good way to remember which bulb the bike takes. It's actually stamped in the headlight plastic I think in the lower right of the lense. This helps me because every car I own takes a different bulb and I always forget what takes what.
