I am in need of one of these! My dealer said he can order one for $51 but it will be 7+ days and I am at a standstill until I get this darn swingarm off.

If anyone would "rent" me one of these I would gladly pay (and of course shipping too). PM if you can overnight this or perhaps a charlotte reader has one? :)

Thanks!

Or if you know of a place I can order it overnight!

You can make your own. Take an existing socket of appropriate diameter, and grind the matching castle teeth into it. Of course, now you have to buy another socket to replace that one  .

Is that all it does is lock into that outer nut thing? And I just need a huge allen wrench for the center part? Any idea on the sizes of these?

You can take it off with a pin socket or whatever you make up but you really need the special tool to replace it to make sure its torqued up correctly, you could make one I suppose but you'd need the offset measurements off the proper tool to make sure you're at the right poundage as you apply the torque wrench off centre.
The recent post in the garage from Mack? who had problems doing it up and kept losing chain tension until he used the proper tool backs it up.

Yeah I read that thread before I posted :)

I broke 3 pairs of pliers and finally got it off...and the tool is on order so I can put it back on :)
