I saw a post saying Sport Chrome sucks, and Classic Components is good but they are pricey. I have been talking to http://www.santaanaplating.com/ and they look good, but I am nervous about using anyone :) So any recommendations would be nice.

Classic Components also does power coating which I am not familiar with. How durable a surface is it? I am considering a black chrome on the frame.

You might want to check out the black chrome -- years ago I was going to have my 10-speed black chromed. I was told it would wear off. I opted for regular chrome. Made the bike stiffer.

Yep, they said black chrome was only for strictly show purposes. Too bad...
