has anyone added those glow gauges to their bike? I have 98 and I'm just wondering if anyone whose done it has any advice...

I have seen them on other bikes and they look aweright. I was thinking about doing it to the bird myself but havent gotten around to it.

I did it to my 97. I like them a lot, I painted the needles before I installed the Indiglo's, figured I cwouldn't be able to see the white needle to well.
Inly the clock is dark now.
The hardest part is getting over the needle but they line up with the screws on the guages and just plop down.

edit: looking at the pix you posted mine are aglow all the time there is a controller to dim and change the colour. but I think the install process is the same.

I actually bought set for my '99 XX, but never managed to install them.
If you're interested, I could sell it, since I've got '03 XX now and don't need illuminated gauges.

I find them to actually be distracting and a bit bright.

Hey,

Are yours the "reverse" style that are white in the day and black at night? I am a little concerned the the standard style will be too bright at night... How much did you want for them? Shipping?
