Two things really impressed me about McMaster-Carr.

First, their web site is well designed and implemented. The way they classify, organize and describe products is easily the best I've used. Take fasteners for example. There's an endless variety of types, coatings, thread pitch, length, head size, material, diameter, etc. So it can be tricky to find the specific one you need. Especially given their huge selection. The McMaster-Carr website handles it flawlessly.

Second, their overall customer interaction is fabulous. The prices are low, no handling fees or questionable shipping fees. And every order is processed within hours and shipped the next day. The email invoice is well organized and easy to read.
