Someone tell my dumbass the benifit of going with this mod?

You will eventually have to replace the factory bearings, and when you do, you can spend a fortune on factory bearings that will fail again, or get the tapered bearings and probably never have to worry about it again, and all for less money.

For me it made the steering feel lighter.
