Hey all,
I'm new to the board so don't scream too loud if this is a re-post. I'm wondering what options there are for aftermarket pipes. Is there anything special I need to do to convert to a single pipe? Does it hamper power or performance? I've seen some pictures of both systems and the single pipe appeals to me just because I think it'll cost less to buy one than two. I've got a '97 that is totally stock.

Thanks for listening...

.. that you may have to lose the centerstand with some full systems. Some of the guys here who've been down that road will further advise... be patient.

I've got an Erion 4-1. Centerstand is fine with it.

You might think that...

If you like the look of a single pipe, then go for it. But a single pipe will be a full system, and more expensive then dual pipes which are 'slip ons' and are less expensive and easier to switch yourself.

Looks and Sound are the biggest changes a new pipe will make, and that's what I'd base a purchase decision on.

Small HP gains from full systems and re-jetting are other considerations
