I rode down to Tallahassee to check out a 01 SV with a friend.
It was good enough for my friend to buy, or I would have.
The front has been dropped in the tripples. In stock configuration, are the fork caps almost level like on the XX?
Any favorite brand of lowering links for the rear?
My first time on a SV. Not bad for a 650. Going to be a learner bike for his wife and son.

Any suggestions on things to look out for would be nice.
Thanks

Naked or S model? on my daughters 06 S models the tubes are almost flush, maybe 1/16" above the triple?

they usualy refer to them as first and second genaration, up to 2002 are first then 03 and up are second, even though the 03 is an odd ball, looks like an 04 but many parts are not interchangeable , different frame.

There's so mauch potential with a SV, they are an absolute blast, and with just a little money you can make it look like a race bike, people are allways turnig their heads trying to figure out what it is.
